The UGI Beam Transport is considered by far one of the most advanced and helpful technologies onboard UGI vessels. It allows them to override an enemy vessel's shields and beam soldiers and UGI Marines directly onboard the vessel to take control of it. By sending out a beam of Protons and Ions being transformed and mutated into neutrons it causes an enemies warpcore to go offline as well as sap the shielding. With the shields at 60% the UGI is able to beam its Marine contingent onboard the vessel and take control of it from the inside or by sabotaging the ship.
