Imperium Halo Tanks are the second largest vehicles in the Imperium Ground Forces.
The Imperium Halo Tank is among the only ground vs air/ground tank the Imperium uses as it serves both purposes and are more often looked upon with dissatisfaction due to their preference to Mechas.
Strategic Purpose[]
The Imperium Halo Tank uses a Radiation Frequency Bandwith Generator and Array to manipulate the Ionspere to control the weather and to create long ranged anti Shield bubble preventing any kind of shield from being able to activate. Due to being able to only manipulate certain weather altering ability at a time, these tanks are mass produced and set up in secure locations to create the most damage while preventing the IHT from being a target to enemy fire.
By setting up IHT's in the support zones behind the front lines, they can alter the ionsphere to create an anti Shield region preventing all shields from coming on line. this in turn can also be used to disrupt sensor readings preventing enemy ships in orbit from being able to bombard imperium bases.
By setting up other IHT's in regions closer to the front lines, they can be used to alter the trosphere and stratosphere to create massive electrical storms which will randomly bombard regions on the battliefield killing infantry and disabling or destroying the unshielded tanks.
Other IHT's can be used to alter the geoglogy of the landscape createing varying levels of earthquake activity.
Other IHTS can open holes through the atomsphere to create an absence of breathability on the battlefield as well as being able, by opening a hole in the ozone unleash maximum solar radiation damage on infantry below.
A more devasting harder thing to do is have multiple IHT's band together help create a cyclone or a graviometric disturbance which both can lift up incredibly heavy vehicals and smash structures, but the gravimetric disturbance is still considered the worse of the two as it creates a revese gravity anaomoly causing structures and vheicals and infantry to be thrown into the atomsphere then pulled back down by the return of the gravity, essentially a gravity hammer.
